Major Pharmaceutical Company Announces Expansion

Irvine Pharmaceutical Service, Inc announced yesterday that it plans to double its capacity by second quarter of 2014. The contract development and manufacturing firm’s CEO, Dr. Assad J. Kazeminy described the expansion as a three-pronged initiative: a more highly trained technical/engineering staff, state-of-the-art instrumentation and increased capacity for testing bio-pharmaceuticals  raw materials and formulation testing.

The big push for technical staff has been apparent since the beginning of the year, when the company released a budget to add 40 additional staff by the end of the 2013. These moves have been 5 years in the making, says Kazeminy, “to meet the quickly expanding needs of the biopharmaceutical industry as it adjusts to an improving economy, mounting regulatory restrictions and faster-to-market demands.”
