New Medical Device Jobs Created

Job creation by Johnson and Johnson’s Vistakor Ireland is set to pump out more than 300 jobs throughout midwestern Ireland

The Ireland branch of Vistakon (the designer and manufacturer of Acuvue disposable lenses for Johnson and Johnson) is set to increase their operations in the Midwestern part of Ireland, resulting in the job-creation of more than 100 new positions and close to 200 temporary jobs (construction). The Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation has invested more than  €100m for this expansion.  The company currently employs 1,900 people.
